Check out the event on Facebook!
Been dreaming of the day you could ride a sheet of plastic for two tenths of a mile at over 300mph (or some where between that and 0)?! Well now is your chance North Dakota! Feast your eyes on the first ever slip ‘n slide requiring a ski park chair lift to get to the top! The current world record is a tiny unverified 600ft but our slide will be nearly 1,200ft of EPIC SLIDING AWESOMENESS with roughly 250ft of vertical drop! As wi…th all our events, this will be filmed for youtube and photographed for all major social networking sites. $10/person at Huff or $8/person pre buy at CiNcity Designs in Mandan lets you slide as many times as you possibly can before we wrap it up. Waivers must be signed before riding and anyone under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardians signature.

Does this slide actually cost $1,000,000? Well no, but $5,000,000 in insurance liability coverage was required to host this event so the title seemed appropriate. Where else in the world is someone required to have millions of dollars of liability coverage to slide on a sheet of plastic? That should tell you how awesome (or sketchy?) this event will be!!!!

In 2010, North Dakota took the guinness world record for snow angels by 8,962 snow angels, on Feb. 17. It’s time to break another record people. We already will with this slide, lets add another by having the most people ever slide at one time!

Oprah auditions…

In a business meeting about the ND500 road rally, I learned that Oprah was looking for someone to fill a spot on her new TV network. Reading over the directions, it’d seemed pretty simple. Film a three minute video explaining what you would do with your own TV show. Read More→

ND500 comes to life…

Like any normal morning for me, I do my best thinking in the shower. My mind is racing with ideas on how I can enjoy life to the fullest, how I can build my brand to new heights, and how I can do what I love for the rest of my life. It’s December 2009 and we’re only 2 months away from the Bullrun premier on the Speed channel. Still fresh in my mind driving my NSX to a second place finish on a national TV show, I’m thinking to myself “Dang that was fun! I’d love to do that again”. Then BOOM! It hits me like a ton of bricks!… Read More→

CiNcity Designs

When I first started doing this “headlight thing” back in 2005, I never would have guessed i’d be in this position 5 years later. Still building custom lights for one, but on a level higher than the empire state building. When I think about it, it’s really not that surprising though. I built my first set of lights because in my mind, my car needed to look better. Look different from anyone else. It only makes sense that other people felt the same way. Read More→
