Be aware of the public.
This event will draw a crowd wether you like it or not. Every place you stop, every time you fill gas, every stop light you hit, people will want to know what you’re doing and more than likely try to take a picture. Please be respectful to the public and enjoy your time in the spot light.
Can we use GPS?
Absolutely! In fact, bring every piece of electronics as possible. Radar detector, scanners, jammers, computers, GPS, oil slick, rocket launchers… Bring what ever you want but use it at your own risk.
ND500 will not be held responsible for any equipment that is not legal in any of the states or areas we may pass through.
Also, it’s recommended that every team have a walkie talkie so they can communicate with near by teams.
Traveling with 50+ cars would be no fun if you couldn’t get to know the team that just passed you!
